Jarman describes hospice as “comfort care” and focuses on celebrating patients’ lives, their accomplishments, the people they have touched and the seeds they have planted. In this article, Jarman discusses her experiences working in hospice and the types of elderly patients she has cared for.

South Greenville Elementary School teacher Michael Bonner almost gave up teaching his third year but reconciled for a more creative approach. This landed him a spot on the nationally televised Ellen DeGeneres show. Walmart donated $45,000 and DeGeneres initiated a Go-Fund-Me page raising another $88,000 for the school.

Wilson began bartending at Christy's Euro Pub in 2007. Two years later at age 26, she bought Christy's. She and her husband Jacob have since begun other businesses in downtown Greenville, including Dickinson Avenue Public House in 2015, Jarvis Street Bottle Shop in 2016 and in November 2021 Side Bar.
