Sandy Cole is a ninth-generation potter of the famous Cole family that has been producing pottery in the state for around 200 years. She and her husband Kevin Brown market their wares from North Cole Pottery in Sanford. Whimsical face jugs are their newest creations. North Carolina historian, Dr. Lindley Butler, taught history at Rockingham Community College for nearly thirty years before his retirement in 1996. Butler was born in Eden and grew up on its rivers. He discusses his love of water, the state's history, and historical research. Since 1996, he has been a volunteer diver for the North Carolina Underwater Archaeology Branch.
