[Orville Wright Glider Flights - Cyanotype #5], 1911Notes
Orville invited British aviator Alex Ogilvie to accompany him to Kitty Hawk in 1911. A pilot training to fly the first British built Wright flyers, Orville had visited him in the UK just a few months earlier. Ogilvie gladly accepted the opportunity of flying at the world renowned Kill Devil Hills. In this photo Orville (left) and Ogilvie (right) make adjustments to the 1911 glider.
