R.A. Braddy to William Blount Rodman Jr., 10
June
1921
Notes: As a farming community, the area around Bath was poor, as seen in this and the prior letter from R. A. Braddy to William Blount
Rodman, Jr., about trying to collect drainage taxes from the local residents.
I made a canvass of the District yesterday[.] I found no money and the majority had none in sight. There was a few who were
willing to borrow if they could find any to borrow. The next time I am in town I will stop at your office and we will decide
what is best to do.
Yours truly,
R. A. Braddy
