My dear Mrs Fletcher:
I sent a hasty form letter after the Bath Pageant thanking you and others for their contribution to QUEEN ANNE'S BELL but
wanted to send a special note of gratitude for the pleasure of spending those few hectic hours with you. It was such fun despite
all the last minute mess of things. You were a positive darling to put up with it all, a real trooper.
Tried in three places to get one of your earlier books but am told they are all out of print. I'd love having on [sic] if
you can advise where to look. I want to send it to you for special engraving so I might place it next to my engraved Edna
Milley as the center of my prized books.
Don't forget when you get here to let me know. Until then all good wishes to you.
Most sincerely,
