Hood's Sarsaparilla
This front of this card depicts a young girl, wearing a red-striped dress with a gray-colored apron, reclining on a rug on the floor having tea party. Her two guests are two young puppies, one in front of her and another one looking from behind her back. There is writing below the picture. C.I. Hood and Co, Apothecaries, proprietors of Hood's Sarsaparilla. The reverse of the card states "Success at Home. Hood's Sarsaparilla has met success at home never accorded to any other proprietary medicine. It has successfully combatted the strongest competition and by its superior merit today commands the largest sale and the greatest confidence wherever it has been introduced. It combines, in a proportion peculiar to itself, the active medicinal properties of the most approved alternative tonic and blood purifying remedies of the vegetable kingdom. It will positively cure when in the power of medicine, dyspepsia, headache, biliousness, kidney complaint, scrofula, salt rheum and all diseases arising from an impure state or low condition of the blood. It is nature's great health restorer and is not equaled by any other medicine." Followed by four testimonials. The price is one dollar or six for five dollars.
