Description
Mortar: grey-white porcelain bowl with rounded, smooth rim and spout, oval maker's mark and another inscribed mark (not legible) also on bottom, brown ring visible inside bottom of bowl. Pestle: club shaped instrument with grey-white porcelain base, inscribed “1”, wider at the bottom and more narrow where joins to wood handle, handle more narrow at neck and flared at end, eight small dents in wood near porcelain.
